Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Everland Technology Limited ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Her Bible mobile application (the "App"). Her Bible is a devotional Bible-reading app designed to keep your personal information on your own device. We do not run user accounts on our servers, we do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your data.

1. Information stored only on your device

The following is saved in the App's local storage on your device and is never transmitted to us. It is removed when you sign out or uninstall the App:

• Your display name and email address, if you choose to sign in (see Section 2);
• A profile photo, if you choose to set one from your device;
• Your prayers, notes, verse highlights, bookmarks and saved verses;
• Bible reading progress, reading-plan progress and achievements;
• Mood check-ins and daily reminder settings.

2. Sign in with Apple / Google (optional)

Signing in is optional. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, the sign-in is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We receive only your name and email address so the App can show them to you, and we store them locally on your device only. We do not transmit, store, or process this information on our servers.

3. Information processed when you use online features

To deliver reading content (Bible text, reading plans, daily verses, narration audio and badge images), the App requests that content from our content-delivery service. In the course of delivering content over the internet:

• Our hosting and content-delivery providers (such as Cloudflare) may process standard technical data — for example your IP address and device/browser type — to deliver the content and to protect the service against abuse. This is standard server-log information and is not used to identify you.
• To obtain a short-lived access token for content, the App sends a device platform indicator (e.g., "android" or "ios"). This request contains no personal identifiers.

We do not use this information to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with the on-device data described in Section 1.

4. Device permissions

The App asks for permissions only to enable specific features, and only when needed:

• Photos / Media: so you can choose a profile picture, and so you can save verse images to your gallery when you ask the App to. Only the image you select or save is used; nothing else is read or uploaded.
• Notifications: so the App can deliver the daily reminders you turn on. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send remote push notifications and we do not collect a push token.

5. No advertising, analytics, or sale of data

Her Bible contains no third-party advertising SDKs and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your personal content lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can delete it at any time by removing items within the App, signing out, or uninstalling the App, which deletes the locally stored data. If you have any question about data associated with you, contact us at the address below.

7. Children

Her Bible is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. International data transfers

Reading content is delivered through a global content-delivery network, so the servers that deliver it may be located outside your country or region. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such processing.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App or on our website.
